George Dureau: New Orleans Artist explores the life and career of one of the city’s icons, painter and photographer George Dureau (1930-2014). Featuring rarely seen archival materials, contemporary interviews, and an original score by composer Oscar Rossignoli, George Dureau: New Orleans Artist tells the story of a New Orleans that no longer exists.

GD: NOA is the debut doc feature from filmmakers Sergio Andres Lobo-Navia and Jarret Lofstead, and is produced by The Bend Media, an independent production company based in New Orleans. Lobo-Navia will be in attendance.
